Autumn Trifold Shutter Card
Wow! Thank you Gloria Pluckett for such a fun fold. We saw this searching Pintrest to gain some inspiration and her fun fold was exactly what we were looking for! Do you ever have one of those days where things just don't seem to go your way, wow, today was one of those days. I have having issues with our Seal and Seal + and with cutting the slots on this card, even with the instructions right in front of me! Good Lord! Well, at least we still had fun! Be sure to check out the video below for step by step, measurements and tips are given below so please read them as well.
You will love this fun fold, it actually is really easy and quick! It took us a bit longer due to the stamping and punching and cutting we did for the leaves, pine cones and acorns and of course I was having one of those days. So when it come to watching the video, bare with me as I struggle and have a brain fade when I went to cut the card base.
The card base is scored, with the 11' side at the top, at 1-3/4", 3-1/2", 5-1/4" and 7". You then rotate so the 5-1/2" side is at the top. Line up the edge of your cardstock to the 1-1/2" mark, you then will bring your cutting blade down to the first score line and cut down to the third score line. You then can rotate your card stock again so the top is now at the bottom of the trimmer and do the same. Line up edge to the 1-1/2" mark and start at the first score line and cut up to the third score line.
