Brightest Glow Emboss Resist Technique Card
For the month of July, we're helping you get a head start on this year's Christmas cards with our Christmas in July Card a Day Challenge!
Every day of the month, we have a new challenge for you. Be sure to follow along on our Facebook or Instagram to participate in the challenge! Tag us in your pictures or post in our Exclusive Stamping Before Anything Else Facebook group so we can see your take on the challenge.
Today is the 12th day of the month and Kayla's really proud of this card! For today's challenge, you'll want to create a card using the emboss resist technique.
For this card, we used Garden Green for the card base. We stamped the trees from Stampin' Up!'s new online exclusive, Horse & Sleigh Stamp Set in VersaMark on a piece of Basic White Cardstock then heat embossed with some white embossing powder. Next, we added some Garden Green ink over the embossed trees using a blending brush. Once it was to the color we liked, we whipped away the ink from the trees, making them look like they're covered in snow. Finally we added our sentiment, some Gold Trim and Gilded Gems to the front.
