Christmas Faux Shaker Card
For the month of July, we're helping you get a head start on this year's Christmas cards with our Christmas in July Card a Day Challenge!
Every day of the month, we have a new challenge for you. Be sure to follow along on our Facebook or Instagram to participate in the challenge! Tag us in your pictures or post in our Exclusive Stamping Before Anything Else Facebook group so we can see your take on the challenge.
Today is the 6th day of the month and we're challenging you to create a gift card holder! For inspiration, you can always create this one or find one of your own.
For the card, we used Night of Navy for the card base. We embossed a piece of Night of Navy Cardstock with the Basics 3D Embossing Folder before adhering it to the card base. Then we put a piece of the One Horse Open Sleigh Designer Series Paper inside a clear envelope in order to create a faux shaker card! We added the sequins to the inside of the clear envelope, in front of the DSP, and closed it up. Once it was closed, we adhered it to the embossed cardstock. The sentiment is from the Brightest Glow Stamp Set and is stamped in Night of Navy ink.
