Hello Harvest Fall/Autumn Card & Box
Bringing out an oldie but a goodie for the technique on this card. Baby wipes are so much fun to use when giving this variegated look a bit messy but so worth it. We were at Target and came across this bath bomb and I had to grab it and make a box for it, it was $4.99.
For this card, we started out with Cajun Craze card base 5-1/2"x -8-1/2" scored at 4-1/4". We then used the Leaf Fall embossing folder on the 4"x 5-1/4" Pumpkin Pie cardstock. Next die cut the largest square from the Stylish Shapes die in Cajun Craze. We then take our baby wipes and place them on a Block F and squeeze drops of ink from the refills directly onto the wipes. We stamped our leaves onto Basic White Cardstock (see video) and then stamp Flower from the stamp set as well for the box. We then die cut the leaves out using the next smallest square die and the coordinating flower die. We adhered the square with the leaves stamped onto the Cajun Craze square. We then stamped our greeting in Cajun Craze and die cut it out (see video). We then adhered this to front and added rhinestones.
For our box, we cut and scored the 5-3/8"x 9"(score on short side at 1-1/8", 4-1/4", on long side score at 1/2", 1-5/8", 4-3/4" and 5-7/8") Cajun Craze cardstock (see video). After the box is made, we took the Leaf Fall embossing folder and embossed the 2-7/8"x 2-7/8" Pumpkin Pie piece. We die cut the circle using the third to the largest circle in Cajun Craze and adhered this to the embossed Pumpkin Pie piece. We adhered these two to the front of the box. Next we took the die cut flowers from above and adhered to the front. We then took Cajun Craze ink and stamped the Hello and fussy cut it out. Using dimensionals we adhered this to the front as well. Last we took Linen twine and made a bow adhered with a glue dot and added some rhinestones.
