How to Make a Spring Card in Minutes with Painted Lavender Stamp Set
It's hard to imagine of spring when we're in the dead center of winter! But we still wanted to keep our hopes up for the upcoming spring as we made this card. For this card, we're featuring the Painted Lavender Stamp Set which is going to be in the upcoming 2024 January-April Mini Catalog. It's actually CASE'd (Copy And Share Everything) from the catalog! You don't always have to rely on your mind to come up with your card designs. Using the catalog to create your cards is always a great, go-to option when you're stuck in a creative rut.
For the base, we used Thick Basic White Cardstock. Then we adhered the Perennial Lavender Designer Series Paper to the front of the card base. On a piece of Basic White Cardstock, we stamped the leaves in Shaded Spruce ink. Then on a scrap piece of Basic White Cardstock, we stamped the lavender flowers and stems using Highland Heather ink and Shaded Spruce ink. We die cut the flowers and stems out using the Painted Lavender Dies and adhered them to the front of the card using dimensionals. On a piece of Fresh Freesia Cardstock, we stamped the sentiment in Fresh Freesia ink and adhered to the front of the card. To finish things off, we added some Crumb Cake Baker's Twine to the bouquet of flowers.
