May 2021 Paper Pumpkin Batter Up Alternative!
Wow! What a great kit this month's Paper Pumpkin kit is! Baseball theme, masculine theme or for anyone who loves the sport, you can for sure create something spectacular with this. We created a fun card with a pop up middle. If you joined us during our Facebook/Youtube live we ended up adding a bat to the inside part. See below for video.
For this card we used most items from the kit except for the Night of Navy card base and Basic White cardstock. To start off with we took our 5-1/2"x 8-1/2" Night of Navy scored at 4-1/4". We then took the Basic White 4-1/2"x 7" scored at 3-3/4" on the long side. At the top we made a pencil part 2-1/2" to the left of the score mark, 2-1/2" mark on the right side of the score mark and then 2-1/2" down on the score mark. We then created a score line from the middle mark up to each mark to create our pop up. (See Video).
Measurements:
Night of Navy Cardstock
5-1/2"x 8-1/2"; scored at 4-1/4"
Basic White Cardstock
4-1/2"x 7"; scored in half at 3-3/4" then mark at 2-1/2" to the left and right of the score line (instructions above and in the video below)
