Men's Gift Box
I just love this month's Paper Pumpkin box! Stampin' UP! really has out done themselves by coordinating with the annual catalog products for the month of July. I also can't get enough of the Come Sail Away Suite of products that you purchase under one code, 152175, on page 145 of the annual catalog. Stampin' Up! is always looking to make things easier for it's customers and by providing one code for the whole suite sure makes it simple instead of listing all the product out one by one.
Kayla and I were out shopping and of course we love Bath and Body and we saw travel size all in one shampoo and body wash and I immediately thought of my son for the lakes and what a perfect size to make a gift box.
I found a video done by The Paper Pixie online, see her video here, and used her dimensions for box that is holding the wash but changed up the wrap. I wanted the whole insert to slide out and this is what I came up with. I used the sail boat, clouds, stamped image from July 2019's Paper Pumpkin box and the rest was from the annual catalog. Didn't this turn out cute?
The box uses Smoky Slate 12x 12 and you need to cut the piece to 9 1/2" x 12. On ALL sides you need to score at 1/2", 1 5/8", 2 1/8", 3 1/4".
Then with the 9 1/2" at the top of your score board you need to score at 3 3/4" and 5 3/4" ONLY to the second score line. Do this on both 9 1/2" sides.
Next on the 12" side at the top, score at 2 3/4" and 9 1/4" ONLY to the fourth score line. Do this on both 12" sides.
Next you need to burnish and cut out the sections with the X's, see image or refer to video linked above.
For the outer box band, I used Night of Navy measuring 5 1/2" x 9" scored at 1 3/4", 2 7/8", 5 7/8" and 7. Make sure to practice first before doing your final project.
