Side Step Halloween Card

Writer's picture: Nancy & KaylaNancy & Kayla

We'll there is no denying that we are in love with the Plaid Tidings Designer Series Paper in the August-December 2020 catalog with Stampin' Up! It's the perfect pack of paper, a pattern for all events and seasons. This week we made a Side Step card in Halloween theme, don't you just love those brooms?

On the long side of the Basic Black Cardstock, score at the 4" mark. Place the short side of the cardstock at the 1-1/2" mark on your trimmer; move your blade down the track to the 1-1/4" mark and partially cut down to the 7-1/4" mark. Once you have finished the partial cut, rotate the cardstock counterclockwise so the cut line is at the bottom. Partially score to the cut line at 3/4", 1-1/2", 2-3/4", and 6". Adhere the Plaid Tidings DSP and other cardstock to the card as pictured above (measurements for everything are below).

For the treat basket, it was a lot simpler than the card! We just used the Little Treat Box Dies to cut out the Plaid Tidings DSP and adhered a spider and a cute sentiment from the coordinating stamp set.
