Simply Elegant Eid Mubarak Blog Hop
Eid Mubarak to all of our friends celebrating! Although Eid may not be for a couple more days, to celebrate Eid al-Fitr (the closing to the holy month of Ramadan), we are participating in a blog hop with some lovely demonstrators around the world. For this card, we were inspired by the moon as the date of Eid is often dependent on the sighting of the moon. The "To the Moon" Stamp Set was perfectly paired with the Simply Elegant Specialty Designer Series Paper to really bring out the festivities of this holy event.
The card was created by stamping the To the Moon Stamp Set in Night of Navy ink on Night of Navy Cardstock. We cut the Simply Elegant Specialty Designer Series Paper at an angle and adhered it to the front of the card. "Eid" was cut out of Night of Navy Cardstock using the Playful Alpha Dies. The same was done with "Mubarak" on the inside of the card. Wishing you and your family a very happy, prosperous and blissful Eid.
