Turtle Friends Bundle
This new Turtle Friends Bundle is so adorable. This bundle can be found on page 56 in the New Annual 2021-2022 Stampin' Up Catalog. It consists of Turtle Friends Stamp Set and the Turtle Punch. Since our craft room was a complete mess after creating this past week and we couldn't find things, we came up with this card by flying by the seat of our pants and see what happens. Can anyone relate? Actually, Nancy did not like how the one in the video turned out so she ended up pulling up the Basic White and stamping some Real Red hearts to add a bit more to this card and finally she is happy with it! So, we started out with a Thick Basic White card base measure at 5-1/2"x 8-1/2"scored at 4-1/4". We added a layer of the Evening Evergreen 2021-2023 Designer Series Paper that measures 4"x 5-1/4". We also took and stamped the big turtle onto another Evening Evergreen pattern, from this same Designer Series Paper packet, in Memento Tuxedo Black. We fussy cut out just the shell. Next we took and stamped Evening Evergreen grass onto a Basic White piece that measures 3-3/4"x 4-1/2". When used the same ink and stamped two small turtles. We stamped one big turtle in Memento Black on a scrap piece of Basic White and used the Light Evening Green Blends marker. We stamped in Real read on this same scrap the ribbon and the hearts on the Basic White piece that has the small turtles. We also stamped the sentiment in Evening Evergreen then used our Double Oval punch to punch it out. Next we adhered the the pieces together and popped up the sentiment and the large turtle using our Stampin' Dimensionals. Added a few In Color Jewels to finish it off! Didn't this turn out cute?
